TROMPE-MORT (Comic)

"Trompe-mort" is a surnatural horror/adventure comic book project developed by Julien Prioux and myself.

We worked together for some years on the story, doing some world-building featuring an alternate universe (the story takes place in Lutetia, an uchronic Paris), and creating a story with characters we'd like to read the adventures of! Julien then wrote an entire script and I worked on the visuals (character, props and environment designs, layouts, etc).

In 2020, we made this sample, featuring the first 10 pages of our story. I made all the art, and the custom onomatopoeias as well. It was storyboarded digitally, drawn and inked traditionally, then scanned, and colored digitally.
